Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Llandeilo truly did turn pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! With the help of Tenovus Cancer Care Llandeilo branch, Llandeilo’s residents and businesses turned the town pink with window displays, balloons, flags, house decorations and everything else in between. October can be a dull month as we roll into winter, where this really did lift spirits and more importantly raise awareness and funding for a great cause. 

The Tenovus ladies and town businesses held numerous events including a cake sales, coffee mornings, ‘Pink Fizz’ afternoon tea, bike challenges and more, to raise a fantastic sum for this worthy cause. A campaign that really did bring the town together and much joy to many visitors and residents alike.

Claire Jones of Tenovus, who rallied the people of Llandeilo to turn pink, added thanks for the support during the month of October “The flags may come down tomorrow but the wealth of kindness and support shown to this BCAM campaign continues to astound me.
